Research Opportunities in the Leadership, Competition, and Collaboration Lab

We welcome enquiries from prospective research assistants interested in joining our team. Our research assistants are involved in diverse aspects of scientific research—including data collection, study design, and subject recruitment. Through these experiences, our lab members develop and hone their skills in designing and conducting laboratory experiments (including those on group dynamics) and scientific studies of naturalistic groups and teams in the field, and they receive hands-on training in behavioral observations, measuring vocal parameters (e.g., pitch, formants), assessing salivary biomarkers (e.g, enzymes and hormones such as testosterone, cortisol, alpha-amylase), using eye-tracking technology, conducting scientific literature searches, and basic and advanced data analytic techniques.

To apply, please complete this application, where you can also find more information about the avenues under which you can get involved.

If you have any questions about joining the lab or the application process, please email us.
